WFZO won't win you any points at Scrabble because it's an acronym for Warsaw's photo-optics factory, the Warszawskie Zaklady Foto Optyczne. Druh, however, means “friend" in Polish.
The Druh Synchro is made of bakelite. It was manufactured throughout the fifties and well into the sixties. It shoots two formats (6 X 6 or 4,5 X 6 cm) on 120 rollfilm. A detachable inner mount (so easily removed that mine is lost) controls exposure size. Two thin red markings in the finder allow the photographer to frame his shot to the correct format.

The “Bilar” lens is a screw-out 8/65 mm made up of two lenses with no focusing mechanism. A tiny switch located on the right of the lens allows you to choose between two apertures, 16 and 8. Another switch, to the left, lets you choose between the set exposure (M) and bulb (B). A lead can be attached to synchronize a flash, the only feature that sets this model apart from the basic Druh.
